Our Airport is Puerto Plata (it is around a 30 minute drive to Cabarete)

Money Normally you pay with Dominican Pesos, but US$ are nearly everywhere accepted

A rental car is around US$ 35 to US$ 45 a day

Scooters are around US$ 20 (also available in the Kitecamp)

A good and cheap laundry is 5 minutes from the Kitecamp Cabarete

The best way to go to the Kitebeach , take a “Moto-Concho”. The will charge you 20 Pesos

In Cabarete there is a 24 Hour Medical Service, and in Puerto Plata they have a hospital with a lot of doctors from Europe and America – hopefully you never need
this service !

The nightlife mainly happens on Cabarete beach, until 10.00pm is a foodtime and after the party start, which continue till 3.00 in the morning , the bars like Voy-Voy, Onno's, Lax...!

You should not drink the tap-water, but for tooth-brushing it is no problem !

The Main Spots for Kitesurfing is “Kitebeach” and “Bozo-Beach” in Cabarete. But also the Wave Spot “El Encuentro” and the Rivermouth “La Bocca” is very famous for Kiting. They are only a 10 minutes drive by car from the Kitecamp!

The wind normally starts at around 11 a.m. (lightwind, perfect for beginners), picks up in the next 1,5 hours and stays on good days until it is getting dark !
